Chocolate for Fundraising
Looking for a great fundraising idea? I have sold everything from stickers, notebooks and jewelry to cupcakes, cookies and chocolate lollipops. Chocolate Gifts are something that almost everyone enjoys, so I have found that it is especially easy to sell.
Gertrude Hawk Chocolates offers sales programs designed to fit fundraising, corporate and gift-giving needs. I am going to be sending an e-mail to ask if they would be willing to donate a basket or gift that we can use as a raffle prize.
Have any other 3-Day participants or teams had luck with food fundraisers? My cookie and cupcake bake sales at work have been a hit each time I have them, and they have left my co-workers asking when will I be doing it next. Any other suggestions?

Hi!
Great job on all the money you’ve raised so far! That is wonderful! I am walking in the Arizona 3 Day this year. Today I had a benefit luncheon at work and it went really well. I sold lunch tickets for $10 per person and had 30 people sign up. My plan was to donate the money left over after I paid for food but someone volunteered to buy all the food any way so I am able to donate the total $300. I got one 6′ sub ($29.99) and one 4′ sub ($19.99) from a local grocery store. I also bought chips, potato salad, pasta salad, broccoli salad, watermelon, drinks and cookies. I had some people volunteer to bring homemade desserts too. Total cost for food was only $100 and that fed 30 people with tons of leftovers. My co-workers loved it and some asked when I was having the next one. The best part was that this event helped get the word out that I was walking and raising money so in addition to the lunch ticket sales I also received $400 more in online donations. This was a great fundraiser and very easy to pull together.
Keep up the good work! Let me know if you have any fundraisers that worked for you.
