If you’re new to our blog, we’re Laurie & Nikki. We are two women in Dallas walking in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day in November 2008. We believe that we can see a cure to this horrible disease in our lifetimes, and it is our goal to do all we can to help raise awareness and funds. Our goal is to raise $6000 before the walk. We are over halfway there, and that’s why we created this blog. If you feel inclined, please make a donation to help end breast cancer forever. If you found us via the quarterly Bloggy Giveaways read below for instructions on how to win a t-shirt from one of our favorite supporters. |
We are also giving away a Save the Tatas t-shirt. To enter, simply leave a comment on this post. One comment per person, IP address, and e-mail address please. This is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada only. We will draw the winner after midnight on Saturday, August 2. We will contact the winner for their address.
No donation is necessary to enter and it will not increase your chances… but we will love you a little extra!

I would love to win this. My best friend’s mom (a 2nd mom to me) has breast cancer. I wear a bracelet most days to support her but would love to have a shirt as well. This is her third time to battle breast cancer. Thanks for doing this!!!

I lived in Mexico for 2 years doing mission work with the IMB. While I was there, I became close friends with a Survivor of breast cancer. It was the pastor’s wife at the church I attended. She was great and we had very similar personalities. She does the 60 mile walk on a regular basis–she flies back to the US and has done 3 or 4 of them I think in different places. I went to the one she did near where I live. I also participated in a 5K walk in Mexico in honor of her! She’s an inspiration to anyone who finds out they have this horrible disease. Nice work–I hope your walk goes well and you’re having fun preparing for it!

Great shirt, Great cause! Would love to win, thanks! For some reason, it was so difficult for me to go and get my first mammogram…. I have no idea why and I really don’t like doing it year after year……but I make sure I go. Let’s pray that this cancer is able to be cured soon!

My hubby saw one of their bumper stickers a few weeks ago. He came home & looked up the site. He thought it was a great. He would flip if he came home & I was wearing one of those shirts.
