| Nikki and I are planning to do a training walk this Thursday. Dave and I have also been working out at the gym, and sometimes I still feel like I could go into cardiac arrest when running on the treadmill and lifting weights. SCA (sudden cardiac arrest) is very serious, and you can watch sudden cardiac death video online to get the full idea and give you all the facts to help save your life or someone else’s. Believe it or not, SCA kills 325,000 people a year which totals nearly 900 per day. It also occurs without any warning and the results can be fatal if the individual is not treated within 4 to 6 minutes of the onset. I feel a lot more educated now, and I hope our fellow walkers will take a few minutes to learn more about this important medical issue. |
