Best Online Coupons

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

I love shopping online. You can find some excellent deals. I am a sale shopper anyway when I go to the mall or department stores, but I really become a bargain hunter online. Lots of stores lower their prices online and if you are savvy, you can even find great coupon codes to go along with your savings. I guarantee you that I do not pay full price for anything online, and most of the time I get my order shipped for free too. This is super important if you are buying fundraising materials because obviously you want to get the most bang for your buck and a great return when you turn around and resell to your supporters.

Today I was looking for Toys R Us Coupon Codes and discovered Best Online Coupons and am now hooked. You can easily search for stores and restaurants via their site, making it easy to find exactly what you are looking for. A lot of coupon sites are simply bogus link farms that provide zero value and waste your time, but Best Online Coupons lives up to its name with legitimate updated coupon codes. There are thousands of online shops listed in a variety of categories.

Have you heard of Restaurant.com? I learned about them today via Best Online Coupons, and found an awesome Restaurant.com coupon code that will get me a $25 gift certificate to any local restaurant listed for only $2! I won’t tell you what it is here, because I want you to go over an experience Best Online Coupons. That deal expires on May 31, so hurry over. There are tons of other fabulous deals too!

Cheap Eyeglasses

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

One thing I wish I had packed for our 3-Day camping experience last year was a spare pair of eyeglasses. I wear contacts about 80% of the time, but it would have been nice to rest my eyes after 20 miles of dust and dirt each day. I wear expensive designer glasses, and there was no way I was bringing them on my first camping experience ever.

I recently discovered Optical4less, an online site that offers cheap eyeglasses. How would you feel about a $15 pair of high quality complete prescription glasses? Not only could I purchase a pair to wear each day of week, but I could have a spare pair to have when camping, working out in the yard, or simply for work.

Late last year before my tonsil surgery, I had to get my prescription renewed because they would not allow me to wear my contacts at the hospital. That single pair of glasses cost over $300, and that was wish insurance! Can you believe that?! Now that I know about that, why would I ever purchase from one of those big stores that boast $99 glasses that end up costing hundreds? No thanks.

Check out their large selection of cute, stylish and trendy frames starting at $15 and up. They also include styles for men and children and prescription sunglasses too.

Do you know what time it is?

If you’re me, it’s time to get a new watch! I have been searching the Internet looking for a stylish watch. I found a site that has photos of celebrities and some of the watches they have been seen wearing in movies and in their personal lives. Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are just a few of the ones I saw. They definitely wear some amazing (and pricey) time pieces. Who do you think is the most famous person associated with watches? I am going to have to guess Flava Flav.

I also found myself looking at Seiko watches, and I must say that there is a huge selection. It was hard to narrow down my choice, but because my wardrobe these days consists of so much pink (hello Breast Cancer awareness!), I would have to select this lovely pink dial watch. I am also impressed with the price. It is only a little over $100, plus free shipping and sizing!

Plus Size Fashions

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Finding cute and trendy plus size clothes is not easy. If you have looked at some of the well-known stores in your local shopping mall, you know that they seem to think all of us “big girls” enjoy wearing baggy muumuus and large prints. It’s hard to escape. I think I speak for curvy girls everywhere when I say we want to wear the same styles that the skinny girls are wearing, just in a slightly larger size that flatters our figure.

PlusSizeFit.com is the answer to my call. From dressy tops and outerwear to casual tops and pants, it’s a mecca for all things affordable and trendy for the plus size woman. Girls, the bolero is in and this site has them in your size! Check out this gorgeous black and bubbly one to the left, perfect for an evening out on the town. It also comes in red, and ranges from size 1X to 3X.

I am also loving the Sale Rack section, which includes dresses and tops all under $20! Woot! Have you ever noticed the stores at the mall also charge a ridiculous amount for their clothes. $70 for a top that’s not a designer brand? I’m a budget fashionista, people! Another thumbs up is that the site offers free shipping for orders over $100 with the coupon code FREESHIP.

What is your favorite style trend of the moment? Have you visited PlusSizeFix yet? Did they have what you were looking for in your size?

Order your Valentine Flowers today

Friday, February 13th, 2009

Two things I love: flowers and Martha Stewart. Yes, she was a little shady and landed in jail, but I still admire her mad crafting skills.

When I got engaged, one of my bridesmaids gifted me a subscription to Martha Stewart Weddings magazine (Thanks, Megs!). That’s when I truly fell in love with her beautiful flower and bouquet designs. I only wish I was able to put arrangements like that together. My friend Nikki is getting married later this year, so we went to the Dallas Bridal Show this weekend. She is considering buying her own flowers for us to put together with another friend. It’s easy to get lots of great ideas just by browsing Martha’s collection online and in the magazine.

As you all know, I am a huge fan of tulips. I love the Martha Stewart Scarlet Red Tulip Bouquet. You can do so many “good things” with flowers, and these would look absolutely stunning in my all red kitchen. Isn’t the vase gorgeous too? I think tulips are so romantic and they really bring a room alive. I would definitely love this arrangement for Valentine’s Day, and it’s available from 1-800-FLOWERS (hint, hint). Even better, if you order any of the Martha Stewart arrangements, you get a year’s subscription to Living for free! That’s what I’m talking about.

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! Hurry and get this great deal and surprise your sweetie with 1-800-FLOWERS.
